Upper and Lower Case

When I was starting out in Graphic Design I used to look at this publication all of the time. I learned more about typography from reading U&lc than any other source. U&lc featured new fonts that came out from type foundries, great illustrations and layout. Here are a couple of covers from the old issues from the late '70s/early eighties. Although U&lc is no longer a printed magazine, you can find an online version here created by the International Typeface Association. Other covers can be viewed http://magpile.com/uandlc/
